Microgrant Program

Investing
in Our
City

Not everything we build crosses borders. Portland Grants & Community is our most local initiative — a direct investment in the people and organizations doing the hard, daily work of building something good in Portland, Oregon.

We fund churches, nonprofits, and grassroots community projects that are tackling the problems our city can't ignore: addiction, homelessness, fatherlessness, and the slow erosion of neighborhoods that once held people together. We're looking for organizations that are already doing the work — not just talking about it.

Grants ranging from $1,000 to $7,000 are available for 501(c)(3) organizations, fiscally sponsored projects, churches, and grassroots initiatives serving the Portland metro area. We fund specific projects, not general operations — and we welcome applications at every scale.

This is where the lab meets the neighborhood. Bright ideas — funded, local, and put to work.

Spring 2026 Focus

Men, Families,
Upstream Solutions

Every grant round, we choose a specific focus. This spring, we’re funding organizations, churches, and ministries that are serving, equipping, and building up men and families in Portland.

After five years of nonprofit work in this city, we’ve seen the pattern clearly: addiction, homelessness, and neighborhood decline are downstream problems. Stronger men and stronger families are the upstream answer. If your work is pointed there, we want to come alongside you — through a grant, a training workshop, or both.
