Brilliance Labs is pleased to announce our sixth round of micro-grant awards. This round focused exclusively on local churches, continuing the legacy of Central Bible Church by supporting organizations addressing needs in underserved communities.
## As Is Church — $5,000
As Is Church received funding for “Hope Center Homes,” a sober-living and transitional housing ministry. The organization operates primarily in Gresham and East/Southeast Portland, with a stated belief that “everyone has a name, everyone has a story, everyone matters to God.”
## Columbia View Church / Immigrant Connection (ICPDX) — $5,000
Columbia View Church was awarded funding for client services through their Immigrant Connection ministry. This DOJ-recognized immigration legal services ministry provides low-cost, high-quality immigration services in under-resourced communities of the Portland metro area and beyond.
## House of Healing PDX — $5,000
House of Healing PDX is a Northeast Portland church plant serving predominantly African-American congregants while remaining open to all ethnic backgrounds. The funds support “The Family Gathering,” a summer outreach initiative to reach people in their neighborhood through park gatherings and outdoor worship events.
## One HOPE Fellowship — $6,000
One HOPE Fellowship is a multi-ethnic NE Portland church plant that received funding for an Easter neighborhood outreach event. The organization’s vision emphasizes creating multi-ethnic Gospel-centered disciples and communities.
## Restoration Church — $4,000
Restoration Church received funding to develop a drop-in center at Rivercrest Church, providing a safe space for vulnerable youth in East Portland.
