Brilliance Labs is pleased to announce our fourth round of micro-grant recipients. These grants support churches and organizations that are making a difference in our city, especially among those under-resourced or otherwise neglected by majority culture churches and ministries.

## House of Healing — $5,000

House of Healing is a church plant in NE Portland serving the under-churched and un-churched with a predominantly African-American congregation that welcomes all ethnic backgrounds. The organization focuses on expanding children’s ministry and distributing Bibles to young people. This grant funded a youth retreat to better invest into the young people the Lord is sending to their church.

## One HOPE Fellowship — $5,500

One HOPE Fellowship is a multi-ethnic NE Portland church plant. Pastor Ricardo Barber describes it as “a place where people belong, and share talents and experiences.” The organization focuses on making multi-ethnic Gospel-centered disciples, communities, and church plants. This grant supported evangelism training, neighborhood evangelistic efforts, and Easter community outreach events.

## Pamoja House — $7,000

Pamoja House is a Southwest Portland multicultural organization serving immigrants through education, counseling, and vocational services. They provide English as a Second Language (ESL), driver’s education, tutoring, and citizenship classes while maintaining personal support to students through small class sizes and caring volunteer staff. This grant funded an interim director position overseeing women’s and children’s programs.

## Mosaix PDX

Mosaix PDX promotes unity within and among the churches of Jesus Christ across boundaries of race, class, culture, age, and gender. Affiliated with Mosaix Global Network (founded 2004), they develop church unity across the greater Portland area and address injustice and other barriers that can otherwise be divisive. This grant funded a design lab launching a new diaspora ministry coalition in the Portland metro area.

## Faithful Friends — $5,000

Faithful Friends is a mentoring program matching volunteer individuals, couples, or families with children ages 6–9 for 3–4 monthly meetings with minimum one-year commitments. They serve children in need who are generally under-served or missed altogether through partnerships with churches and community organizations. This grant launched a paid internship program.
