Brilliance Labs is pleased to announce the recipients of our third round of micro-grant awards. These grants honor the legacy of Central Bible Church by funding churches and organizations serving underserved or neglected communities.
## House of Healing — $2,500
House of Healing is a newly established church plant in Northeast Portland targeting the under-churched and unchurched population. The congregation is predominantly African-American but welcomes people of all ethnicities. This grant funds children’s ministry expansion and Bible distribution to young people, along with offering Sunday school classes.
## Humble Beast — $5,000
Humble Beast cultivates and equips creatives in Christian communities through multiple platforms including a record label, book publisher, conferences, and podcasts. This grant supports the production of “The Halftime Podcast with Shai Linne,” showcasing artists and creative voices in the Christian community.
## LifeCity Church — $5,000
LifeCity Church is a multicultural, multiethnic church in East Portland led by Pastor Stefan that prioritizes meeting immediate community needs. This grant funds a mental health clinic offering professional counseling services to community members who otherwise lack access to mental health support.
## New Life Church — $3,940.66
New Life Church operates across multiple campuses in Gladstone, West Linn, Wilsonville, and Portland suburbs, planting new congregations strategically. This grant supports “One Right Church,” a podcast specifically designed for individuals currently in a cult or recovering from cult involvement, helping them understand Christianity and navigate post-cult life.
