Brilliance Labs is proud to announce our inaugural micro-grant recipients. These grants carry forward the legacy of Central Bible Church by funding churches and organizations serving underresourced communities in the greater Portland area.

## One HOPE Fellowship — $7,500

One HOPE Fellowship is a multi-ethnic church plant in NE Portland. Pastor Ricardo Barber describes it as “a place where people belong, and share talents and experiences.” The organization focuses on making multi-ethnic Gospel-centered disciples, communities, and church plants. This grant supported community outreach and evangelism efforts.

## Iglesia El Buen Pastor Beaverton — $6,000

Iglesia El Buen Pastor Beaverton is a Spanish-speaking multi-ethnic church pursuing an “Antioch Church” vision of gospel expansion among Latino communities through church planting. The organization emphasizes mobilizing second-generation Latino youth. This grant targeted youth ministry programs and church planting initiatives.

## Jubilee Hall — $7,000

Jubilee Hall is a nonprofit coffee shop creating safe spaces for refugee and immigrant integration. Their mission centers on breaking barriers, opening doors through job skill and English language training, and building community bridges. This grant funded cafe equipment for their Burnside and 122nd location, which opened in Fall 2022.

## African Family Holistic Health Organization (AFHHO) — $5,000

Executive director Joy Mulumba leads AFHHO in promoting health within African immigrant and refugee communities. The organization integrates Christian faith with community development. This grant supported an African youth after-school program.

## City Teams Portland — $3,300

City Teams Portland offers discipleship and recovery programs for unhoused men, providing food, shelter, clothing, training, and spiritual transformation. This grant funded Christ-centered entrepreneurial training for three residents over twelve months.

## Oregon Community Development Corporation — $5,000

Formerly the Rockwood CDC, this organization applies biblical economic principles to community development, expanding housing, supporting entrepreneurs, and increasing healthcare access. This grant supported micro-loans for Rockwood entrepreneurs through their CDFI program.
