We are testing a concept called Micro Grants. The idea is for a facilitating organization like Brilliance Labs or Frontier Ventures to serve as a financial bridge to de-risk Bitcoin transactions for missions workers who have never used the technology before. We send $50-$100 via Bitcoin to a cross-cultural worker in a developing country, and they have to exchange it for local currency. For field personnel who have to send money through banks, this simple exercise opens their eyes to the efficiency of Bitcoin.
