Ahshuwah and I were invited to host an exhibition table in the Digital Discovery Center at the Lausanne 4 gathering in South Korea in September. It was a phenomenal opportunity to do hands-on demonstrations with missions leaders from around the world, many in places where Bitcoin could provide needed solutions for missions problems.
We were asked to do practical demonstrations, so we hung a sign that said, "Free Bitcoin," and we were off to the races. This was our flow:
• Have the delegate download one of four Lightning wallets that would work best for them (most chose Wallet of Satoshi or Primal).
• Send them $10 worth of sats to their new wallet and watch their jaw drop.
• Show them a map with QR codes for other workers around the world and show them how to send part of their bitcoin to them.
• Invite them to get training after the event on how to exchange their bitcoin for local currency (they had to fill out a form and offer us their contact information).
