Meet Jordan Bush the New Brilliance Labs Start-up Fellow

Brilliance Labs empowers ministry entrepreneurs to transform their wild ideas into reality. Meet Jordan Bush, the newest Brilliance Labs fellow.

Jordan Bush, founder of TGFB

Jordan was a church planting missionary and pastor in Uruguay prior to helping author Thank God For Bitcoin in 2021 and later found TGFB Media in 2022, with a goal of helping people understand and use Bitcoin for the glory of God and the good of people everywhere. From putting on conferences to launching podcasts to authoring books, TGFB has worked to minister to and through the Christian and Bitcoin worlds.

Throughout the three and a half years of TGFB’s existence, TGFB and Brilliance Labs have partnered together on a variety of endeavors, including two ministry focused Bitcoin design labs in El Salvador and Kenya. Jordan and Ahshuwah, BL’s executive director, have spent hundreds of hours strategizing how to leverage Bitcoin for maximum Kingdom impact in a variety of ways, including through To The Unknown Pod, a TGFB podcast about faithful Christian stewardship of everything from faith to family and finance.

As TGFB considered becoming a non-profit, Ahshuwah broached the possibility of BL coming alongside TGFB to work together in mutually beneficial ways.

Brilliance Labs now has the opportunity to formalize our relationship with TGFB. Jordan is closing TGFB the media company and has been invited to incubate a new not-for-profit ministry under the fiscal sponsorship of Brilliance Labs. During this 2-year fellowship, Jordan will be equipped to more effectively lead a nonprofit ministry and will have an innovation “sandbox” from which to explore his most fruitful ministry ideas. Our existing Bitcoin Ventures team will work closely with Jordan to more effectively fulfill our mutual goals of empowering gospel ministry with bitcoin.

Help Launch the TGFB Ministry

We are seeking to raise $555,000 in order to fully fund the first two years of the TGFB ministry. All funds designated for TGFB will be used to fund the TGFB ministry and Jordan’s 2-year Brilliance Labs fellowship. Upon the completion of the fellowship, any remaining funds will be gifted to a future non-profit TGFB entity or used to continue funding TGFB as a ministry of Brilliance Labs if Jordan and Brilliance Labs mutually agree to continue the fiscal sponsorship relationship.

We invite you to prayerfully consider partnering with Brilliance Labs and TGFB to:

  • Strengthen Christian leaders and ministries through education about Bitcoin and the Christian concerns related to sound money.

  • Share the gospel with the global Bitcoin community.

  • Equip families, churches, and other missional non-profit orgs for long-term financial stewardship.

  • Build a faithful Christian voice within a rapidly growing technological movement.

Please visit our dedicated TGFB page to read Jordan’s complete project proposal and find out how to give to support this project.
